Enhancing Real-Time Financial Data Visualization at NeoXam

Product Context: NeoXam – A global financial software provider specializing in data management and real-time analytics for financial institutions. NeoXam manages various investment solutions for companies such as Cedrus & Partners, La Française, Amiral, Richelieu, Greenrock, Greenlake, and more. As a result, I worked on multiple applications tailored to the specific needs of these clients.

NeoXam aimed to improve the different applications of its VueJS- and ReactJS-based financial platform, which required real-time data visualization, performance optimizations, and enhanced UI components. The challenge was to ensure seamless data flow, reduce latency, and create intuitive dashboards for traders, analysts, and stakeholders.

Technical Challenges and solution

The challenge was to develop high-performance, real-time financial data visualizations capable of handling large data streams efficiently. The system needed to ensure smooth updates without UI lag, optimize reactivity, and maintain high reliability through thorough testing.

As a Senior UI Developer, I designed and implemented reusable graph components using VueJS, ReactJS, D3.JS, ChartJS and SVG, allowing real-time updates while ensuring smooth interactions. To enhance performance, I optimized state management with Vuex and Redux, reducing unnecessary re-renders and improving responsiveness.

Given the complexity of financial data, I introduced advanced testing strategies using Jest, Cypress, ensuring 95% test coverage and minimizing production bugs. Additionally, I collaborated with data scientists, and product owners to align technical solutions with business needs, ensuring seamless integration with NeoXam’s financial data sources.
